When will I receive my order?

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. We ship from our vendor partner locations in Ohio via UPS and USPS. Transit times will vary between 1-5 business days depending on your location. Please allow for extra transit time during peak holiday seasons.


How much is shipping?

  • Heartland Harness is proud to offer Free Shipping on most orders over $99 within the Continental United States! Large items that require shipment via freight truck are excluded. For orders under $99 there will be a handling fee of $12.99. Expedited shipping is available upon request – please contact Customer Service for a shipping quote.


    What payment methods do you accept?

    Heartland Harness ensures a secure checkout experience with Stripe, accepting all major credit cards. Planning a large purchase? Take advantage of our convenient payment plans through Klarna and Affirm. Personal checks or money orders are accepted from established customers only.

    What is your return policy?

    Items may be returned in new condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items not returned in new condition will be subject to a restocking fee. If an item is defective or the incorrect item was shipped in error we will cover the return shipping cost. Refunds are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days once the merchandise arrives at the warehouse. Bank processing times for refunds may vary from 5-10 business days. If you wish to exchange a product, we will ship out your alternative item as soon as we receive the original item. All damages, shortages, or discrepancies must be addressed within 72 hours of delivery.


    Does Heartland Harness offer custom items?

    Yes, we do! Looking for a harness in a different size? Need a halter with different hardware? We work with exceptional craftsman that can create the perfect item for your horse. Feel free to reach out to customer service with your custom order needs and we will work with our vendors to provide you with a quote. Custom items are non-returnable and can take 4-6 weeks turnaround time depending on the item.

    The majority of our items are proudly made in the USA! Heartland Harness is proud to source all of our inventory from local small businesses and craftsmen.
